Award-winning theatre company Same Difference is bringing the interactive Alice in Wonderland to two venues in Leeds this Easter – including Farsley.
After a successful tour of 42 shows in summer 2021, Alice, the Red Queen and the Mad Hatter are back to give audiences a special Easter show.
The show is going to Leeds Markets event space on Friday, 15 April and Farsley Community Church on Monday, 18 April.
“We are encouraging audiences to dress up,” said artistic director Natasha Glew. “And we are giving out small prizes to all who do. We found last year this really helps the children connect to the story and the characters, with a bit of extra magic.”
The company share a re-telling of the classic story, focussing on Alice’s journey as a young person, learning to stand up to bullies and develop her internal confidence. The audience go on a journey with Alice and watch her overcome her fears to get back home.
Tickets are available on Same Difference Arts website.
