1st South West Leeds (St Peter’s) Scout Group reopens its doors after pandemic break

Words: Elizabeth Wells

First South West Leeds (St Peter’s) Scout Group provides fun, challenge and adventure to young people in Bramley.

The group, which meets at St Peter’s Church on Mondays, has been part of Bramley’s community for nearly 50 years.

Unfortunately they had to pause meetings due to the pandemic, but thanks to the hard work of local volunteers they are now back up and running and have spaces for boys and girls aged six to 10 years old.

They are holding an open evening on Monday 22 Novemberopen to all six to 10-year-olds and their families to come along and get a taste of what Scouting is all about.

There will be fun activities to get involved with and a chance to speak to current members to find out what they love about being a Scout.

If you’re interested in getting involved, get in touch with Elizabeth at elizabeth.wells@scouts.org.uk to find out more!
