Volunteers from the Friends of Stanningley Park group will be presenting their inaugural event in the run up to Christmas.
Christmas carols from the Tutti Community Concert Band and a singalong with the Bandstanders Ukulele Band will be held at Stanningley Bowling Club on Sunday, 10 December from 1pm. Hot drinks and mince pies will be available for a modest charge.
Tutti Leeds Community Concert Band is a band of wind, brass and percussion players who make music for fun in and around the Bramley community. Tutti will be playing Christmas classics and carols to get you in the festive spirit.
The Bandstanders are a local ukulele band and will be playing a selection of Christmas favourites.
On behalf of the Committee Friends of Stanningley Park, Chair, Cllr Ritchie said: “Thank you Stanningley Bowling Club for hosting, and both the Tutti Concert Band and Bandstanders Ukulele Band for performing at our first Friends of Stanningley Park event in the park.
“All welcome, so please come along as we get into the Christmas spirit, for what will be the first of many Friends of events in Stanningley Park.”
