The second Calverley Open Gardens will be held at the weekend, with 13 gardeners throwing open their gates to raise money for the local hedgehog charity Hedgehoggery.
The first open gardens in 2019 raised more than £900 for Hedgehoggery, so this time they hope to beat that figure, especially as some of the gardens will offer refreshments, plants and a tombola.
The gardens range from large formal to small informal and work-in-progress, with one couple who confess they don’t know the names of all their plants, but love them anyway!
They are open from 1-5pm on Sunday, 12 June. A map and details are available on Facebook.
