A west Leeds estate agent has sponsored stylish tracksuit tops for Wortley FC under 15s ahead of the new football season.
The Wortley branch of Manning Stainton is supporting the team, which holds weekly training sessions at Farnley Academy and plays home games at the former Wortley High School site on Blue Hill Lane.
Team manager Ashley Kearsley said:
“It has been a real pleasure working with the lads from such a young age and watching them develop their footballing skills. They have also enjoyed plenty of success on the field, including winning the league and cup double in 2015/16.
“Manning Stainton has been a big part of this journey having sponsored us in previous seasons and we are all extremely grateful for their continued support.”
Sharron Kaur, a sales negotiator at the company’s branch on Lower Wortley Road, added:
“Clubs like Wortley play such an important role within the community by providing sporting opportunities for our young people. As a company with its own roots firmly in the community we are delighted to lend our support and wish the lads well for the forthcoming season.”
Other local beneficiaries have included Lower Wortley Primary School, West Leeds Juniors FC and Farnley FC.
