Hidden away in Armley Park are two Glazed terracotta plaques, probably Burmantofts Pottery.

Burmantofts was world-famous for work like this and examples of Burmantofts’ tile can be found all over Leeds.

These two plaques date from around the opening of the park in 1897.

They are both listed and considered to be at risk.
