Pudsey-based G&H has further strengthened its healthcare credentials with two contract wins worth a combined £16.3million.
The two mechanical, electrical and public health contracts are with new client Elliott Group, and existing client HBC Construction, following competitive tender processes.
Leading UK construction company Elliott Group has appointed G&H to deliver Affidea’s flagship medical centre at Wimbledon Quarter – the first private medical centre to be located in a UK retail destination.
G&H’s 60-strong team, including apprentices, will deliver a full MEP design and build package, with pipework prefabricated at its Leeds-based workshop.

HBC Construction, formerly Henry Boot Construction, has appointed G&H to deliver a complete MEP design and build for GenesisCare, the UK’s largest cancer care provider, at their pioneering new facility in Leeds.
A 55-strong team will install specialist MRI and PET-CT process chillers and associated pipework, medical gas systems, and critical electrical infrastructure including Isolated Power Supply (IPS) and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to maintain continuity in the event of a power cut.
Works also include patient monitoring CCTV, a quench pipe system, and a photovoltaic (PV) installation expected to generate around 28,800 kWh of energy and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 10,950 kg per year. On completion the former office building will be converted into a 36,000 sq ft oncology, haematology and research centre.
