New Wortley Community Centre to become walk-in Covid-19 testing centre

From Tuesday 24 November people will be able to get free Coronavirus tests at New Wortley Community Centre.

The centre, at the bottom of Tong Road, becomes the latest venue in West Leeds to become a testing facility, alongside Bramley Housing Office and Pudsey Civic Hall. The centre will be offering ‘walk-in’ tests between 9.30am to 3pm.

Outside of these times, you can book a free test via or call 119. Please wear a face covering when you come for a test. If you have symptoms of coronavirus, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

People are urged to get a free Coronavirus test if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • A high temperature.
  • A new, continuous cough.
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

  • Fearnville Leisure Centre
  • Gryphon Sports Centre, Leeds University
  • Little London test site
  • Mandela Centre
  • Roland Road WMC, Beeston
  • St George‚Äôs Centre (Middleton)
  • Temple Green/Moor Park and Ride
