We are hosting an event called Our fascination with Crime fiction: The Golden Daggers in conversation with Martin Edwards and Caroline Maston.
The annual Daggers awarded by The Crime Writers’ Association sets the bar for the genre’s writing, but how did crime fiction develop into such a broad and rich reading experience?
Martin Edwards, 2020 winner and author of The Life of Crime a comprehensive history of crime fiction, will be in conversation with Caroline Maston to discuss the genre’s evolution and review the recently revealed 2023 Daggers short-list.
