Santa Splash Paddle Event 2024 – where? Rodley (Tiny Tea Rooms) – Apperley Bridge Marina & Return
Free Paddle Community Peer Paddle Event.When: Saturday 21st Dec, on the water for 11am .

What to wear: Buoyancy Aid – Appropriate clothing for the season plus Fancy Dress to bring lots of smiles to all those around us.
I do still have a limited supply of Santa Suits available. Thank You George Canal River Trust.
Apperley Bridge Marina (Lunch Stop). Please contact the marina if you can ahead of the day if you wish to order any food at times it does take a fair while to be served. We usually arrive around 1215hrs onwards.
Even though myself & the team will be paddling this is a Peer paddle. Please ensure you can self rescue if required or let those you are paddling with you know if you cannot, this section of canal is around 4ft deep at most places and has easy 
egress if required on both sides.
Weather: This event may cancel at the last minute if the weather gods don’t play nice .(2 yrs ago we had to cancel due to the canal being frozen).
Parking: Limited parking available at the Tiny Tea Rooms Area or local Parking available on Canal Street in Rodley next to the Locks. (Please park responsibly and as close as you can so we can fit every one in)
Names: please let us know if you are attending so we can keep track of potential numbers, last year we had just shy of 70 paddlers with just over 120 names who said they were attending & we even had a full page spread in the YEP & on the local news – @leedsdockpaddleboarding
