Two spine-chillers by M R James, the master of the English Ghost Story, performed in candlelight by Farsley favourite Robert Lloyd Parry of Nunkie Theatre, who appeared as the author in Mark Gatiss’s BBC2 Documentary ‘M R James: Ghost Writer.’ In “Casting the Runes” we meet the unforgettable ‘Abbot of Lufford, ’ Mr. Karswell – magic lanternist, historian of the occult, and scourge of the academic establishment.
