Discover treasures and share your passions at our FREE Swap Shop event. Dive into a world of exciting exchanges, where pre-loved items find new homes and stories. Clothes, books, gadgets – it’s all here!
Alongside Steve’s Swap Shop, we will also be running a new FREE community skill share with some of our favourite Culture Club regulars! Do you have an ongoing sewing or knitting project you need some extra guidance on? Would you like to learn a new crochet stich? Or learn how to fit in darts or a zip to a new garment? This is the event for you! Our super knowledgeable Left Bank regulars will be here to help.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY SWAP SHOP:
Tell your best mate, your nan, your parrot and come and trade anything you items you don’t need for something that you do! For each of your Items (or swapsies as we call them) you will get a Token. Each Token is then exchangeable for another item as a free trade!
We will be accepting anything from Clothes, Plants, toys, and tools — basically anything useable without mains plugs – Battery operated items are fine oh— AND the last hour is Swapper Steve’s Happy Hour when ALL THINGS MUST GO!
*1 ticket per item – nothing is perfect but please ensure items are of a useable quality for the other swappers*
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY SKILL SHARE:
Discover the joys of sewing, knitting, and more, as our local community members share their expertise and passion. Exchange tips, patterns, and stories while crafting beautiful handmade clothes and projects together. From intricate stitches to expert techniques, this event is a haven for every creative soul!
A lovely opportunity to get to know your Hyde Park neighbours and make new friends with locals, students & creatives! Just bring along any ongoing projects, materials, or ideas!
Do you have a skill or craft you would like to share with others? Everyone is welcome to come down and get involved but if you would like any more information on the event, please email leah@leftbankleeds.org.uk! Leah will be able to answer any queries regarding the event and the skill sharing.
