Kirkstall: Tree Planting Kirkstall Abbey Park

Kirkstall Abbey Car Park, Kirkstall, Leeds (meet by the metal picnic benches near the play ground)

Meet by the picnic benches beside the playground. Planting large standards and some whips. We’ll be digging and staking large trees. Wear –

• warm comfortable waterproof clothes suitable sof staying outside in the winter.
• gloves such as gardening gloves
• heavy shoes or boots like walking boots

Bring something to eat and drink. We do have spare spades and forks but please bring your own if you can. A trug and wheel barrow also useful. No previous experience required.
