These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.
This walk is the third of our Leeds to Skipton on the Slow Ways walks, a series of monthly circular walks exploring the canal between Leeds and Skipton in small 3 to 5 mile chunks and all accessible by public transport. Each walk will take place at 10:30am on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
This is a 4 mile circular walk starting and finishing at Costa Coffee at Kirkstall Bridge shopping park. We will wander along the canal towards the Abbey Inn pub before heading up the hill and returning via the paths of Bramley Fall woods and retracing our steps along the canal.
