Kirkstall: Kirkstall in Bloom

We will be meeting at 10.30am on Kirkstall Morrisons on Saturday 28 February 2026.

2026 is settling in, Valentine’s has, and Spring bulbs are thriving, it’s time for the Kirkstall in Bloom’s AGM and planning session.

We’re meeting at 10.30am on Kirkstall Morrisons on Saturday 28 February 2026. Come alomg to help shape our beds and layout what grows in the Drink And Be Grateful Fountain Garden and otyer sites in central Leeds.

We could always do with more volunteer help. A gardening session usually lasts two hours though it is appreciated that sometimes volunteers can only give an hour. Come along and help out.

Volunteering in the community helps community cohesion and supports efforts to tackle littering and other antisocial behaviour, and reduces isolation.

After the planning session we are meet on Saturday 28 March 2026 in the Drink And Be Grateful Fountain Garden. We start events at 11am at the Drink and Be Grateful Fountain Garden.

Kirkstall in Bloom is an inclusive volunteer group and welcome all who are inclusive. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm, we will provide tools, guidance, and an opportunity to develop your skills and connect with your community.
