Kirkstall: Hollybush Apple Day
October 4
Family-friendly Apple Day on Sunday 4th October, 11am – 3pm. Have a go at apple pressing, join in with apple themed crafts and games, put your tongue to the test at our special apple tasting session, and of course, take away some delicious fresh juice.
The event is free to attend, but there will be a £2 bottling charge if you’d like to take juice away, and please remember to bring your own bottle.
Donations of apples are very welcome, we can’t run the event without them! If you know the variety you are donating please label the apples when you drop them off so we can put them to the test in our tasting session!
This event is supported by Friends of Hollybush, who will also be supplying apple treats to buy, including their amazing bake-at-home crumbles.
We have lots of new courses for you to sign up to at Hollybush, from short taster sessions to full 5 day courses. Come and have a go!
Sessions are free for those in receipt of certain benefits or on a low wage.
