Are you aged 16-30 and would like to explore Conservation as a career?
This is a great opportunity for a week long ‘Introduction to Conservation’ supported by the Prince’s Trust. A great chance to learn new skills, meet new people – and maybe even the start of a new journey in conservation!
Travel expenses and lunch will be provided during the course. Drop an email to skelton@tcv.org.uk for more details or to apply.
The taster day is running at TCV Skelton Grange Environment Centre, Stourton LS10 1RS, on Tuesday 5th of March. This will help you know what to expect from the course.
The Get Started course runs from 11th to 15th March. You are eligible for the course if you are:
• unemployed
• on a zero-hours contract
• working for less than 16 hours per week (including self-employment)
• in education for less than 14 hours per week
• doing only voluntary work
We have a range of great opportunities working on a new nature area at the centre, before it opens to the public – and a chance to try skills including willow weaving, green woodwork and wildlife surveying.
