We are excited to announce the first annual CALVERLEY HALLOWEEN STREET PARTY
Tuesday 31st October from 5pm – 9pm
Year after year the Halloween celebrations across Calverley have grown with 100’s of homes across the village now taking part with spooky displays and ghoulish decorations. This year, Leeds City Council have granted a closure order for Blackett Street allowing us to take the spooky celebrations up a notch while providing a safe and traffic free street for children to Trick or Treat in the heart of the village.
From 5pm – 9pm Blackett Street will be closed to traffic and we invite you all to call by as part of your village wide trick-or-treat. Throughout the evening on Blackett Street you will find;

Live Music area with comfy hay-bales and firepits

A safe and traffic free area for kids to trick or treat

Spooky Dance Performances by our talented local dance schools

Larger than life Halloween displays from the houses on Blackett Street

Ghostly history and local stories courtesy of Calverley Old Hall and The Landmark Trust

Candy-Apples, Parkin and Sweet Treats from The Thornhill

Street Food
At the bottom of the street, The Thornhill will be open serving delicious hot-food to go from their kitchen hatch and beers in plastic glasses to enjoy at the street party. The Calverley Halloween Street Party event is entirely not-for-profit, run by residents of Calverley for the residents of Calverley.
