The Friends of Burley Park group is holding its next regular volunteer day on Sunday, 10 May and there are various jobs including weeding and litter picking. Meet by the Bandstand at 10am. Everyone is welcome.
The Friends are also hoping to finish the installation of the picnic bench near to the playground.
Bring along any tools and gloves if you have them.
The Friends have also had the artificial cricket wicket replaced, following a fundraising effort. The Friends are grateful to Wades Charity and the Yorkshire Cricket Charitable Youth Trust for support with funding and to Left Bank Leeds for helping with bid administration.
