Bramley: Summer Reading Challenge – Makey Makey Sound Collage

To celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme of Marvellous Makers, join us for this session where you will design and craft a collage inspired by your favourite book! You’ll then be able to bring it to life by connecting it to a Makey Makey, and adding code on Scratch, so that each part of your collage magically plays its own sounds! Plus, you’ll have the chance to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge, and borrow books to win more challenge prizes! Taking place at various venues across the city:

Friday 9th August, 2pm-3pm – Burmantofts Community Hub and Library

Wednesday 14th August, 2.30pm-3.30pm – Farsley Library

Thursday 15th August, 2.30pm-3.30pm – The Reginald Centre Community Hub and Library

Friday 16th August, 2pm-3pm & 3.45pm- 4.45pm – Boston Spa Library

Monday 19th August, 11am-12noon & 2pm-3pm – Wetherby Community Hub and Library

Thursday 22nd August, 10.30am-11.30am – Bramley Community Hub and Library

A free family-friendly event recommended for children aged 5+. All children must be accompanied by adult.
