Would you like to be part of a creative workshop looking at how people feel about Bramley Baths?
This workshop is part of a research project that uses the creative methods of scenography (also known as set design). In theatre, the design of the stage (scenography) affects how people perform and what spectators see and feel. Scenography can help us to imagine new kinds of places and new ways of being in those places.
In this workshop we’ll explore the spaces in and around Bramley Baths as though they were theatre designs. We’ll take a close look at Bramley Baths and notice the how the different spaces of the building – and all the things in those spaces – make us feel and imagine. The session will then be led by a creative practitioner to express what you have noticed, and how the space has made you feel. This could be through photography, drawing and modelling. We’ll ask you to talk about what you have noticed and the creative methods you are using.
We are looking for a group of 12 -15 people of different ages (12+ to seniors) who live in Bramley or who use the Baths to participate.
