Pop Up exhibition – Art Merging with Life; Bramley Baths – a story of craft, community and connection.
BB is and has always been so much more than a pool. With its roots in the Arts and Crafts Movement and full of craftsmanship and original features, Bramley Baths has been serving the community since 1904 and evolving to meet local needs and changing times. It’s been a dance hall, music venue, meeting place, decontamination centre, roller rink and wrestling ring! Not to mention a creative inspiration, heritage asset and community hub – and, of course, a swimming pool!
Come and learn more – and maybe tell us your connection to the baths – at this pop exhibition in our original Russian steam room.

Opera North – pop-up performance and swim in Leeds’s unique heritage pool
BB is delighted to host Opera North for this special pop-up event. BB has a long history of hosting music and entertainment, but opera is a first! If you’re an opera lover or just want to experience something different in a unique and beautiful setting, join us to soak up the atmosphere as a professional vocalist and musician fill our beautiful heritage pool hall with popular music and classics. Enjoy a swim to the music or soak up the atmosphere from our balcony.
If you have swum to carols or a brass band here in the past you will know how beautiful live music sounds in the pool area. This live show starts at 6pm, with doors at 5.30pm. Balcony/spectator tickets are available on Eventbrite at OPERA NORTH at Bramley Baths Tickets
