Armley: SHEnanigans – Wander Women’s Walking Group (Ogden Reservoir)

This will be our 3rd official Wander Women walk! And we have the added extra of our fabulous Jo coming with her knowledge of all things water and environment to share with us!
The walk is approx 3 miles, taking around 1.5/2 hours.This absorbing walk offers a feast of different landscapes including rough pastures picturesque woodland, soothing streams and rugged moorland. The walk also provides a spectacular viewing point for the nearby wind farm on Knoll Hill before you descend along a golf course on Ovenden Moor towards the dam at Ogden Reservoir.
We will meet in the carpark at Armley Park before heading off to Ogden Ln, Halifax HX2 8XZ.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear! Bring snacks/pack lunch/drinks if you like too
Volunteer drivers – if anyone is able to drive and happy to take passengers, we will reimburse the fuel and pay for parking. Please drop me a message if you’re able to help in this way.
