Leeds City Mission is organising a summer garden event for local people this coming Saturday, 28 June. The event is free and all are welcome.
The summer garden event on Saturday afternoon is well worth attending. In addition to the inspiring talk, delicious ice creams and liquid refreshments – there will also be an opportunity to browse the stock and books in the adjoining charity shop”
On offer is relaxing afternoon with free ice creams and liquid refreshments under shady trees on its adjacent lawn in Mistress Lane, Armley.
At 1.30pm invited guest and ex criminal Geoffrey Bryant will tell the story of his journey out of crime and drugs.
Geoffrey served time in a number of prisons in the UK – including Armley Jail, just along the road from the City Mission Compassion Centre.
