Great performances over the last two weekends have seen New Farnley Cricket Club first and second teams progress to the finals of the cups, writes Graham Scaife.
The first team beat Undercliffe, whilst the second team beat high flyers Whitley Hall from Sheffield.
The finals will be played over the long August Bank Holiday weekend with the first team’s Priestly Cup final being played at Undercliffe CC Bradford on the Sunday against old Rivals Methley CC.
The seconds’ Crowther Cup final will be on the Monday at Scholes CC nr Hepworth Huddersfield in Last of the Summer Wine country.
Anybody who would like to come along and support the teams will be more than welcome.
