Volunteers from William Hill bookmakers have helped a Bramley community organisation tidy up a storeroom at Broadlea Community Centre.
The volunteers, who build software for sports betting, helped the Bramley Care Bears group by tidying a room full of Christmas presents, decorations and general arts and crafts last Friday (26 September).
Angela McConnell, who runs Bramley Care Bears, said: “I’d like to thank the William Hill volunteers for getting in touch with us through our partners Neighbourly and offering to help. The room looks great and we really appreciate the full day’s work you put in.
“You made a real difference.”
Bramley Care Bears is a community volunteer group in West Leeds that provides a free food bank, social activities and neighbourhood projects.
