With Louis at the helm this Easter weekend he spurred Bramley parkrun 5k to continue to blossom, writes Jean Hollings.
27 wonderful volunteers supported our 246 athletes, of whom 55 were first timers. A total of 21 different running clubs took part including runners participating in the Leeds Run Series. The breeze enabled 51 people to gain a personal best. Six people completed week 3 of couch to 5K.
Easter Sunday saw a great turnout for Bramley junior parkrun. Matthew and his volunteers/marshals were awesome encouraging the 39 children who completed the 2k course along with some adults who ran for fun.
Bramley parkrun is every Saturday at 9am.
Bramley junior parkrun is very Sunday at 9am.
