It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

On Sunday 11th December, local elves from the Bramley Grows group held a festive workshop at Bramley Lawn Social Centre, writes Debby Dean.

People were invited to drop in on a pay as you feel basis to learn how to make wreaths, Christmas stockings and light-up tree decorations.

The event was well attended with plenty of fun, lots of smiles and a small mountain of mince pies to keep up energy levels!

Young and old alike went away with handcrafted treasures they could really feel proud of, using knowledge, skills, materials and resources drawn from the local area.

Many thanks to all who attended for making it a really wonderful community event – We can’t wait to see your spruced up winter doors looking as friendly and interesting as the people who live behind them!
