Police searching for Jane who was missing from Apperley Bridge have found a body.
Jane, aged 52, had been missing from her home since Tuesday, 24 February.
Yesterday (Sunday, 15 March) underwater search teams located the body of a woman in the River Aire, close to Kirkstall Abbey.
Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, police say Jane’s family have been informed of this development.
Detective Inspector Andy Queen of Bradford CID said: “Extensive enquiries have been ongoing over the last few weeks to find Jane and sadly officers have found a body believed to be her.
“Specially trained officers are continuing to support her family at this difficult time. We would like to thank the public who shared the appeal to find her.”
