Armley: Police appeal after car ‘driven at’ man, 19

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was seriously injured in a fail to stop collision in Armley. 

Leeds CID would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has footage of the incident which took place on Carr Crofts during the evening of Thursday, 2 April. 

It occurred at about 7.08pm after a grey Volkswagen T Cross was in collision with a 19-year-old teenage boy in the street.   

The car then made off from the scene and is yet to be located. 

The victim suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not being treated as life threatening. 

Following investigation, officers believe the car struck the teenager deliberately and are currently pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.
