A popular annual event will help make Armley a blooming nice place for everyone this weekend.

Volunteers at Armley Common Right Trust will be distributing their free hanging baskets on Saturday, 2nd June 2018, at Moor Top Park on Wortley Road . The event starts at 10am until the baskets are all gone.

Attendees will get the chance to pick their plants and put their own baskets together.

The event is for residents of Armley only and is free, although the Trust do ask for a donation which will be put towards next year’s event.

More details can be found on the Armley Common Right Trust Facebook page.

There are six pieces of land in Armley protected by the Trust. Hill Top, Charlie Cake Park, Moor Top (at the junction of Town Street and Wortley Road), Armley Moor, Far Fold (over Theaker Lane from the Moor) and Ley Lane (beyond Mistress Lane).
