Bramley bonfire is always a big draw – and this year the fireworks promise to be as explosive as ever!

People of all ages are once again invited to join in the fun and enjoy a safe firework display at Bramley Park, one of six Leeds City Council-run public displays across Leeds on November 5.

The bonfires at Bramley Park, Springhead Park, Woodhouse Moor, Middleton Park and East End Park will be lit at 7pm, with fireworks at 7.30pm.

The bonfire on Soldiers Field in Roundhay Park will be lit at 7.30pm and followed by a firework display at 8pm.

Visitors to each of the council’s bonfires are encouraged in the interests of safety, to leave their own fireworks and sparklers at home and enjoy the entertainment provided by the council.

Councillor Debra Coupar, Leeds City Council’s executive member for communities, said:

“The crowds that we attract to each of our bonfires are always large, and with that in mind we would ask people to arrive early so they can enjoy all the fun and not miss out on our fantastic firework displays.

“An amazing amount of hard work is undertaken every year behind the scenes to arrange each event, and once again I would like to personally thank all our council staff, sponsors and partners who play their part in this memorable night.”
