Snow – and the so-called mini Beast from the East – has been causing havoc with public transport in West Leeds today.
According to the Metro website, the following buses are affected:
11e – Not serving Blue Hill Lane, Swinnow Lane or Church Lane.
14 – Not serving Valley Road, Kent Road. Operating via Lowtown.
15 – Not serving Old Farnley. Terminating Ring Road. Not serving Gamble Hill or Heights Lane.
16 – Main roads only. Not serving Leeds and Bradford Road and Whitecote Hill. Operating via Intake Lane and Broad Lane.
16a – Main roads only. Not serving Rodley. Operating on 16 route as above.
38 -Service suspended. Cockshott Lane closed and conditions along route poor.
42 -Terminating at the Ring Road, not serving Butterbowl Drive. Terminating at Oakwood McDonalds not serving Fearnville.

Leeds City Council has issued a warning for ice overnight – looks like tomorrow’s commute may be tricky:

A number of departures and arrivals have been cancelled due to the weather – check before you travel.
A number of events have been cancelled today, including the action day at Pudsey Cemetery, which has now been rearranged for Sunday 15th April from 10.30am-1.30pm, meeting as usual by the main gates.
Rodley Nature Reserve is open as normal today, as is Bramlery Baths:
