Exciting times here at the Dispatch – we’re about to launch a new newspaper for west Leeds!
That’s right, we’re moving into print and are currently in the middle of putting together a pilot issue of what we hope will be regular tabloid sized newspaper for the area.
The paper is due to hit the streets in the middle of next month – but we need YOUR ideas, stories and photographs to go in it! If you have a story to tell drop us a line at news@westleedsdispatch.com. We’d love to hear from you about what’s happening in YOUR part of west Leeds!
It’s been an exciting few months since we launched (as West Leeds Life) back in May, with over 150 articles posted on site and more than 40,000 page views. We’re also planning our first community reporters training session later in the month, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
We’re down in Cardiff today for a conference on hyperlocal/community news operations (like us!) – but full service will be resumed tomorrow!
