Polcie have warned motorists in Burley and Kirkstall to be on their guard following a surge in car crime in the area.
Neighbourhood Patrols have been increased following an increase in thefts from parked cars and vans. A police spokesperson said
“The past few nights have seen an increase in thefts from motor vehicles overnight. The vast majority of vehicles have been left insecure. Please re-check your vehicle on a night and remove any personal items on display.”
