Do you know someone who goes that extra mile to help others? Then get cracking and nominate them as a West Leeds ‘Good Egg’!
Our awards celebrate unsung community heroes and heroines who go that extra mile without ever getting the recognition they deserve.
And we have some eggcellent news if you know someone who can follow February’s winner Daniel Riley …
West Leeds Dispatch Good Eggs for March launches today
Nominees could range from someone who picks up litter in streets, works tirelessly to run a local community group, volunteers their time to make a difference where they live or who selflessly gives back to their community without wanting anything in return. Who would you nominate?
Win a meal at the West End House!
March’s ‘Good Egg’ will receive a £30 meal voucher for The West End House in Kirkstall, most recently featured in a Dispatch article in February having been voted pub of the month by the Leeds branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
Landlady Tammy and her friendly team at the West End are great supporters of the local community themselves. You can find out more about the pub, opening hours and food times here.
