Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for missing Karly Maltas, 12

UPDATE: Police have said Karly Maltas has been found safe and well.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Police are appealing for anyone who sees a missing Armley girl to get in contact.

Karly Maltas, 12, was last seen at 6pm yesterday (Monday, 4 September) in the Armley area.

She was wearing a grey tracksuit. She is described as white, of pale complexion and with long straight mousey coloured hair.

She is said to look 14 rather than 12 and usually wears glasses although it is not thought she has them with her.

Karly has links to the west, east and south Leeds areas. She may also have links to the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire.

Detective Sergeant Amanda Wimbles of Leeds CID, said:

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Karly and I would encourage Karly or anyone who sees her to contact police on 101 quoting log 1934 of yesterday (Monday 4 September).”
