Leeds Local Election 2018: Farnley and Wortley result

Labour’s Matt Gibson gained a seat in Farnley and Wortley Ward at the expense of the Green Party at the Leeds City Council local elections.

Green Party stalwarts Anne and David Blackburn held their seats but Mr Gibson gained the seat from the seat held previously by the Green Party’s Terry WIlford, who stepped down befor ethe election.

New Green Party candidate Stuart Haley came sixth, behind former Lady Mayoress Andrea McKenna and Andy Parnham (both Labour).
