Join the Bramley and Burley litter picks!

Residents in Bramley and Burley are hosting litter picks this weekend to help tidy their community and tackle the blight of dumped or dropped rubbish in the area.

There will be a community litter pick of Burley Village Green on Saturday, April 8 from 11am to 1pm ahead of a number of community events with Burley Top and Burley Village Community Associations planned over the next few months.

Litter pickers, gloves, bags will be provided.

Members of the Newlay and Whitecote Residents Association in Bramley are holding an event on Sunday, 9th April, at 10am to support the Litter Free Leeds Campaign, which encourages residents to take a pride in their community. A spokesperson said:

“Lots of litter picks have already been held across Leeds so we have an opportunity to do our bit to make Leeds a litter free area.”

Anyone interested in joining the clean-up can meeting at 10am at the changing rooms car park on Pollard. Litter pickers, gloves and bags will be provided.
