Hollybush Primary School in Bramley will be holding a ‘show and tell’ drop-in event highlighting the proposals to extend its facilities.

The Broad Lane school aims to add a new two-storey building in a bid to provide additional teaching space with six classrooms in a bid to meet increasing demand for places.

The plans will allow the school to expand from offering 420 places to 630 pupil places, an average of 30 extra pupils per year.

Plans also include additional car parking and landscaping works.

The plans can be viewed in full here.

The show and tell event will be held on Monday 17th October 3-7pm in the lobby area of the main school building.

Boards showing the proposals of the new build will be showcased and the project team will be on hand to answer any queries.

The site also currently houses an existing day nursery (which has separate morning and afternoon sessions, each accommodating up to 52 children), a children’s centre and a family learning centre.

The site also houses the West Leeds SILC (Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre), which caters for children with severe learning difficulties.
