West Leeds residents and groups are being encouraged to get involved with a Fun Palace event in Armley.

Fun Palaces are run by and for local communities and involving handing space over and letting local people decide what to do and feel ownership of the event.

Leeds Council’s Inner West Community Services will be facilitating a Fun Palace in Armley Library on Saturday 7th October, from 10am-4pm.

They are looking for anyone in the community to come to Armley to deliver a free fun event covering Art and Science for any age, then let people have a go themselves.

A spokesperson said:

“This is a great opportunity for Armley to show what a generous and talented bunch we are.”

The event is also being supported by local community group All Together Armley.
