Farsley Town Street collision: Quad bike rider in hospital with serious injuries

A quad bike rider airlifted to hospital following a collision with a van in Farsley remains in a serious condition tonight.

Several ambulances and rescue services were called to the incident on Town Street on Friday night.

The rider became trapped under the quad and was rescued before being airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said:

“A collision was reported on Back Lane near the Old Hall Hotel in Farsley at 9.40pm on Friday. A quad bike collided with a white Transit van and the adult male driver of the quad bike became trapped under the van. He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.”

  1. It can seem to be like a race track on Farsley Town Street at times,even though a speed limit is in place,it doesn`t seem to have much effect. Surely now is the time to address this ongoing problem before another accident occurs.

  2. The Quad bike are becoming a massive problem.in the areas of pudsey something really needs to be done as they are racing around at stupid speeds.on the leeds and Bradford road is like a race track
