Let there be light! Farsley’s festive lights switch on will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 – and villagers are being encouraged to dress up in their finest Victorian garb to celebrate the event.
The annual extravaganza will include the usual festive parade through Farsley from 6.30pm, with the lights switch on and fireworks fiesta starting at 7pm.
There will be entertainment including live music and Santa and his sleigh. Farsley shops will also be getting into the spirit with a shop window display.
Hello WLD. Not quite everything! There will be a Christmas Market of 13 stalls located in the former car park below SunnyBankmills. These include Santa’s Grotto, facepaints, hot food, treats and gifts for family and for canine friends!
