There’s two great community events to look forward to today and tomorrow.
It’s dinnertime in Bramley! Bramley Lawn’s monthly restaurant night offers a good value family meal on a pay as you decide basis tomorrow (Saturday, 6pm).
Pay as you decide means you can pay as much as you think the meal is worth – or as much as you can afford.
This month’s menu has a 1950s feel, with a choice of beef casserole surprise, vegetarian risotto and bread and butter pudding to finish – but you need to book in advance. Call Catherine on 07815 790189 or email catherine.bramleylawn@gmail.com.

And assuming it’s not belting it down tonight Armley residents will be ‘larking’ in Charlie Cake Park from 6-8pm as part of their usual weekly barbecue. Bring a dish/stuff for the BBQ.

Julian Coburn-Hough will be making musical mayhem at 6.30/7pm and attendees can bring something they can turn into an instrument if they feel like joining in!
The event is organised by Arnley resident Emma Bearman, via her Playbox project, and funded by the council’s Inner West Community Committee.
