Many hands make light work, or so the saying goes. Local group All Together Armley is recruiting people to help out at the inaugural Armley Festival next month.
Jobs will include helping to direct traffic, litter picking, and generally making sure everyone feels welcomed and has a fun and safe time.
All volunteers will be allocated a “shift”, which will allow people time to enjoy the festival as a participant as well as working. Helpers will also receive a briefing on the day and a goody bag (donated by one of the festival partners, Tesco.)
As well as during the festival, they need people before and afterwards to help set up and clear up.
The festival runs on Town Street and Armley Moor on Saturday 6th August from 12pm-4pm.
