Burley Park: Can you help find woman in distress?

UPDATE April 27: Police report the woman has been found safe and well and have thanked members of the public for their help.

ORIGINAL POST: Do you know this woman? Concerns for her welfare were raised at Burley Park Train Station yesterday and police are appealing for help to find her.

The woman went to Burley Park train station shortly after 3pm yesterday (April 24) and spoke to a member of staff causing him to become concerned and contact police.

She was described as white with a freckly complexion, about 5ft 6ins tall, with ginger/blonde hair. She was wearing a grey padded jacket and black jogging bottoms with a blue stripe down the side. She left the station onto Chapel Lane. 

Detective Inspector Phil Jackson, of Leeds District CID, said:

“The woman appeared distressed and concerns were raised for her welfare and we need to trace her and check she is okay. We have been conducting extensive enquiries to identify her and would like to hear from anyone who recognises her or who has any information that could assist.”
