Bramley Mermaids will be debuting their new splash-tastic synchro dance performance, ‘Strictly Come Synchro’ on Saturday, 16th June at 8pm with beautiful community-led Bramley Baths as the backdrop, writes Lucy Meredith.

Everyone is welcome and you’re also invited to join the Mermaids in the pool after the performance for a quick swim or to have a go at our synchro dance ‘Splash Mob’. All ages and abilities are welcome so don’t forget your swimming kit!

This event is free to attend although donations are welcome as this event is a fundraiser for Bramley Mermaids. There will also a fabulous mermaid-themed raffle. All money raised will go to supporting Bramley Mermaid Club activities!

Bramley Mermaids are the Edwardian Bramley Baths‘ resident synchro dance club. They rehearse weekly in the pool to create routines together. The club has been running for over four years.

Busby Berkley is an inspiration for the Bramley Mermaids

The classes, taught by Yorkshire Life Aquatic tutors, Lucy and Zoe, have a vintage style taking inspiration from Busby Berkley and Hollywood stars like Esther Williams.
