Armley: Police issue CCTV over attempted burglary

Detectives investigating an attempted burglary in Armley have released CCTV images of the suspect.

Officers from Leeds District Crime Team want to identify the male shown in the images in connection with the incident in Armley.

Anyone who recognises him or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact PC 872 Darren Machell on 0113 385 9394 or via 101 or email him at DM713@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk

Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

  1. Soooooo where is this CCTV footage? It’s in the public domain (the Police ‘released’ it) does no one at the WLD have the webskills to drop the MP4 file into one of the legions of video players out there? C’mon guys

    • Thanks for your comment Andy, we don’t have the video because the police haven’t released it. We only have the stills. The reason police release stills instead of CCTV is because they’re often a lot clearer than a 20-second video of someone sklking around in the dark.
